FSH receptor binding inhibitor (FRBI) was found to reduce the production of c-Myc and K-Ras in the in vitro maturation medium fluids and attenuate the FSH receptor levels of the cumulus-oocyte complex. FRBI also suppressed the upregulating function of FSH on the production of c-Myc, K-Ras, and IP3, resulting in a decrease of FSH receptor expression.
